Mission & Outreach
Concord Sewing Group
Our ladies sew blankets and quilts to give to children who face traumatic situations like life-threatening illness, family tragedy, separation from parents who are in the military or in prison. Over the years, over 1,900 blankets have been made and given away.
THE LADLE is an ecumenical soup kitchen that makes its home in the First United Presbyterian Church at Ninth and Maplewood in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Every Monday afternoon between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, we provide a hot meal and warm hospitality to our guests.
This mission is supported by volunteer groups from 17 local churches/organizations that prepare and serve meals every Monday.
Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and talking about some of the most important questions in life.
